Dan
Perjovschi produces daily drawings, charged with a sometimes black humour and
quite reminiscent of press cartoons. His sketches are like immediate comments
upon ongoing history, be it personal, regional or international. He draws directly
on the walls, using different types of pencils and felt-tip pens. Thus, the walls
become the hosts of temporary and fragmentary frescos", often extended through
other, less visible interventions in various corners of the exhibition space.
In addition to his exhibitions, he also develops his political and social commitment
in the cultural and political magazine 22 in Bucarest.
